Well, the first full month for StupidSucks.com is over and the stats are in.

I passed the goals I set and have made some pretty decent progress considering the small amount of time I had. So what were my goals and actual stats?

    Visitors for March:

  • Goal - 300 (200 uniques)
  • Actual - 605 (378 uniques)
    Page views for March:

  • Goal - 1000
  • Actual - 1,700
    Pages per visit:

  • Goal - 2
  • Acutal - 2.81

Now, my goals might have been aimed fairly low, I’m not all that sure. I only had a few hours each night to work on this site after work so I assumed my first months stats would be pretty low. As more and more content had been posted, the stats started rising.

I am pretty happy with the end results for the month but there is still a lot of development planned for this site and it will be necessary if it’s going to be successful.

During this next month I will be adding Google AdSense (possibly tonight) and looking into a couple other non-obtrusive advertising venues. The header has yet to change (I’m working on it :-) ), there will be additional pages added and some nice additional features as well.

It’s been a good first month and I’m looking forward to seeing how April goes! :razz:
