iTunes is 100% DRM-free now!
It’s great that iTunes is finally 100% iTunes Plus, which just means higher quality and DRM-free. It’s taken too long to get to this point in my opinion though.
Now, on to my next point. What the heck Apple? You want me to pay $365 to upgrade my library for something I should have received in the first place? I love iTunes and it’s been the best music management software I’ve ever used but I definitely won’t be spending $365 any time soon.
I also don’t like the new variable-pricing on songs. I do understand it’s a business and all that junk but couldn’t Apple help us out and wait a year or two until this “recession” starts getting better? It would be nice if these corporate giants would stop trying to squeeze every last penny out of the people who obviously don’t have it. Music isn’t a necessity obviously but the extra 30 cents means I won’t be buying any new music any time soon.
I think I’m much more worried about Time Warner Cable putting a cap on my internet plan. Thankfully I won’t be using TWC much longer.

Sweet! Tonight I finished testing and setting up this blog to load stylesheets, javascript and template images from a Content Delivery Network (CDN). I’m using Google App Engine (not really a true CDN but it works well) which was much easier than I thought and it’s free!
Finally IE 6 could be a nightmare of the past now that Microsoft has finally decided to do something about this rusty nail (IE6) in web developers heels. Microsoft will be distributing IE8 via Automatic Update (Windows Update), even to users still running IE6 or IE7 on everything newer than, and including, Windows XP. This could be what finally kills off IE6! w00t!
This is great! I found this list on
