Morning Twitter Link Roundup

typographySo, the last few days hasn’t led to hardly any really good links so I didn’t do a roundup. Sorry! Here’s some good links for today though. :-)

Wishing there was a socially acceptable way to buy rum for cakes – This is from a blog called “Stuff Christians Like” and although I call myself a Christian, I think I call Christians hypocrites more. Comments to blog poster: You’re ingesting rum, a hard liquor. Regardless of it’s form, you’re ingesting it. If it’s against your faith and you’re trying to bend the rules, you’re a hypocrite. You can’t bend the rules of your faith and think it’s magically okay now.

Safeguarding Your Mac With Undercover - I was looking for something like this awhile back and didn’t really take the time to find a good solution. Thanks AppStorm!

Specifically the Golden Ratio, also known as the divine proportion, which is designated by the Greek letter Φ (phi). This tutorial will cover the anatomy and layout of a website and how the Golden Ratio relates.

Archestratos – An Elegant and Versatile Theme

Well, as you probably know, I have been building a few themes for ThemeForest.net to earn a little passive income on the side. My most recent addition is Archestratos (screenshot to the right).

Archestratos is currently setup to look more like a restaurant style theme but can really be used for much more. Overall the theme is elegant yet versatile. The layout is fixed width, clean and easy to use, making it ideal for anyone looking for this style of theme.

Anyway, take a second and check out the live preview here. If you’re interested, you can purchase the theme here as well as read more details about it.
