iTunes is 100% DRM-free now!

itunes-plusIt’s great that iTunes is finally 100% iTunes Plus, which just means higher quality and DRM-free. It’s taken too long to get to this point in my opinion though.

Now, on to my next point. What the heck Apple? You want me to pay $365 to upgrade my library for something I should have received in the first place? I love iTunes and it’s been the best music management software I’ve ever used but I definitely won’t be spending $365 any time soon.

itunes-upgrade1I also don’t like the new variable-pricing on songs. I do understand it’s a business and all that junk but couldn’t Apple help us out and wait a year or two until this “recession” starts getting better? It would be nice if these corporate giants would stop trying to squeeze every last penny out of the people who obviously don’t have it. Music isn’t a necessity obviously but the extra 30 cents means I won’t be buying any new music any time soon.

I think I’m much more worried about Time Warner Cable putting a cap on my internet plan. Thankfully I won’t be using TWC much longer.
