Multi-level Menus with jQuery and CSS

Lately I’ve seen quite a few requests on Twitter and other places for multilevel menus using jQuery and/or CSS. There are quite a few ways to accomplish this and it largely depends on what your needs are.

In this article we’ll take a quick look at several common multilevel menu options and then I’ll show you how to create a “mega menu”.

Coda Slider and More With jQuery Tools

When I need to setup tabs, accordions and other website user interface features, I use jQuery UI. That may very well be changing with the introduction of “jQuery Tools, The missing UI library for the Web“. jQuery Tools contains the UI features I use most, including an easy to setup “Coda slider” which jQuery UI doesn’t easily do (as in a few lines of code).

jQuery Tools – The missing UI library for the Web – I use jQuery UI for pretty much all my projects that use tabs and other UI features. This is great because it’s tiny compared to a custom jQuery UI build at ui.jquery.com and it has pretty much everything I use and a little more. :-)
